X Long Form for SEO

I had 3 instances of Googling things where I found out that a long-form post on X has been ranking on Google.

And these were no ordinary positions. Some of these are ranked #2, #3, or #14 on page 1.

Long Form X Post Example #1

If you search Google for "21 SEO Experiments That Will Change The Way You Think About SEO (Forever)", you will see who is ranking #2.

And the tweet it links to literally mentions one single line:

If you search Google for "make ugly ads", you will see the X Post ranking at #14 position.

Long Form X Post Example #3

If you search Google for "fame jacking", you will see the X Post ranking at #5 position but the rest are videos so of course if someone wants to read, they will click the #1 post with text.

Why this matters?

If you think about it, you can rank on particular keywords on a Long Form post on X and Google will send quality traffic to you.

Google doesn't know how to figure out AI content if you know what you are doing. That's why the heavy push towards UGC sites like Reddit, LinkedIn Pulse, Medium, and even X Long Form.

Previously, X didn't rank on Google because the tweets were 140-characters and later, 280-characters unless they were heavily shared like Naval's How To Get Rich (without getting lucky) thread.

But now they have fixed it.

If you can write topics on particular terms in your niche that your ICP searches for on X, then you can be found via Google easily.

I feel the puck is going to be on X Long Form in the coming months.

Even the Recommendation Algorithm on X has started working as I've had people liking my older tweets. This means if you write bangers on X Long Form now, you can be searchable with SEO and the recommendation algorithm will show it to other people for years.

If you want to go viral, then threads are still heavily favored but long-term play is probably long form like LinkedIn.

A tool to FaceSwap with AI

Ultraswap AI is a tool that lets you do AI Faceswap for AI Influencers and Creators.

There are people out there who are using other people's videos to faceswap with someone else's photo.

Instagram has recently been banning people for using same scripts in videos. So if you copied someone else's content word-for-word, then your audio will be removed. They will probably figure something out for this. But for now, AI Faceswap works for building fast audience and flipping accounts for quick cash. You can even use it as a funnel for your other products because most of what went viral before will go viral again unless its exploited to eternity.

There are a few people who are using tools like this to summarize things they want so they don't have to subscribe to newsletters or check websites. It doesn't take much time and you can improve your workflow once you know what you are doing.

Your custom-built AI app is as good as your sources aka data so having a good taste is an advantage.

Small Businesses need to focus on reviews for their Google My Business (GMB) listings.

It is hard to game using online reviews because Google might be tracking location history if you think like a GMB Algorithm Designer but you can manipulate the listings by getting people in your area to review it. Pure speculation on the location part but social proof works wonders. Nobody wants to be the 1st customer but with little proof, you get more sales.

Think about when you buy from Amazon, which product you buy? The one with three 5 star ratings or the one with 1000+ 4.5 ratings. Personally, I'd buy 1000+ 4.5 ratings.

Alex Hormozi mentions this in $100M Offers: "Would you do plastic surgery from the doctor who has no experience but charges less or the one with 10,000+ successful surgeries but is very expensive."

This one sounds obvious.

Rabbit Holes

1. Directory Sites - I found a list of Directory Sites from a /r/SaaS thread. You can submit your startup to these directory sites to rank on Google. The said post mentions that 80% of these directory sites are useless but they get syndicated to bigger sites. I assume they are scraping these smaller ones like how Big YouTubers steal outlier videos from Small YouTubers.

2. How Dr. Julie Gurner Built An Email List of Over 26k High Performers - Dr. Julie Gurner is one of my favorite follows if you want to fix your mindset. She writes on self-improvement but the advice is really actionable. She has banging one-liners: "What essential skill is rarely taught but should be mastered by everyone? Impulse Control."

3. 21 SEO Experiments That Will Change The Way You Think About SEO (Forever) - Experiments are cool because you get real data instead of intuitions. And this blog covers it all. Long before the Google Leak happened, SEO Experts were reverse-engineering the algorithms through testing and reading patents.
