Alex Hormozi's New Reverse Shark Tank Show — Instant PMF
If you've ever been confused about how to tell if you’ve achieved product-market fit (PMF), here’s a real-world example. VCs often say, “You’ll know it when you have it,” but this advice is often vague.
Here’s a crystal clear example that shows what PMF actually looks like.
Alex Hormozi’s Reverse Shark Tank: The Netflix of Business Fixes
Alex Hormozi recently started a new YouTube series where he shows business owners how to improve their business operations.
This series currently has only 2 videos: one 60-minute session and one 40-minute session.
In just a single session, he provided strategies that could increase both companies revenue by 3x-5x. The response in the comments section confirmed PMF. Viewers immediately recognized the value and demanded more of this content. Their comments verbatim were as follows:
This format is your long-term social media strategy. This will crush long term. This is your Netflix show.
THIS FORMAT IS STRAIGHT GOLD. Like literally, please keep it coming. It feels so helpful.
Feels like a reverse Shark Tank where he tells you what to do to increase revenue instead of giving you $ for equity. This is great.
This concept is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen on YouTube.
I own a healthcare business and accept insurance, so this was the most applicable piece of content you've ever made for my business. Thank you so much, Alex!
1000x more of this format. This could easily be a TV show.
This is the only 50+ minute video I watched from beginning to end in the last 12 months. This format is gold. Please keep doing it!
I’ve never seen something that feels like entertainment be purely education. I felt like I was watching Survivor but learning about specific business concepts. This is the Goldilocks zone. Amazing!
There’s honestly zero reason for Alex to ever do another video of him just talking—he should just stick to this format (don’t know how scalable it is, but that’s another convo). This video is better than his last 50. Not even close. Can’t replicate real-time business fixes.
This is the best one. I got the most value from the Q&A vids, but this Shark Tank version is crazy. Seeing the way you talk to clients and what you’re thinking in real time is another level. This is the most valuable business content on the internet, no question.
I never comment on YouTube, but I had to for this. Alex, thank you. This is by far the most valuable video I have ever seen for business owners. Doing a checklist of these things daily will change lives forever. Thanks again.
Have watched every Hormozi video for 4 years, going to Vegas to work with him in a small group in April… this is by far my favorite video, even edging out the ones where he increased conversions or fixed customer success scores. This was looking at the full business.
I usually don’t comment, but THIS video is epic. Not just from the value—also that—but especially from the cuts. They are very smooth and not flashy or pushy. First time I watched a business video over a Netflix series while eating lunch. This is super entertaining while also being valuable. More, please!!
This is better than Netflix and far better than another bloody podcast. I would love to see this executed on businesses at all levels—from those trying to hit their first $10K consistently to those in the millions racing for $10M. Seeing how you shift focus at different stages of growth would be incredible.
And there are 100s of comments saying the same thing differently in both these videos.
What Product-Market Fit Really Feels Like (And How to Spot It)
“If you have to ask whether you have product-market fit, the answer is simple: you don’t.”
Product-market fit (PMF) is unmistakable. It’s like a rock rolling downhill, gaining momentum on its own. People hear about the product and immediately think of others who could use it. They suggest new ways to apply it. The enthusiasm is spontaneous and widespread.
“Product market fit doesn’t feel like vague idle interest. It doesn’t feel like a glimmer of hope from some earlier conversation. It doesn’t feel like a trickle of people signing up. It really feels like everything in your business has gone totally haywire. There’s a big rush of adrenaline from customers starting to adopt it and ripping it out of your hands. It feels like the market is dragging you forward. I think the Dropbox founders said this best, that product market fit feels like stepping on a landmine… when we did find product market fit, I thought for sure, this is too tiny to matter, but it actually solved a real problem and the market demanded it and ripped it out of our hands."
The response to Alex Hormozi’s new series shows real product-market fit (PMF). Viewers aren’t just liking it—they’re begging for more. They call it entertaining but also super educational. They point out how unique and powerful it is.
You don’t need 3 million subscribers to spot PMF. Look for clues in comments on your ads, customer emails, social media, or community chats. If people demand more, you’ve got PMF. If they don’t care, you don’t.
If you haven’t seen those 2 videos yet, watch them! Alex uses strategies from his books $100M Offers and $100M Leads to help real businesses improve right before your eyes. There is a reason everyone loved them.

Fake AI Influencers are already here like Wellness Maddie. This will be more common.
Clippers will be a new job since videos are the easiest to consume. So higher consumption = more video clippers needed.
