The Hustle, a daily newsletter on business and tech by Hubspot, used AI Ads for their Facebook Creative.

They used Midjourney to generate the images.

This was done almost a year ago in 2023 when Midjourney generated cartoonish-looking images.

The new AI-generated ads performed 3 times better (300% increase) in click-through rates compared to the previous stock image ads.

Not only did the CTR increase by 300%, but the cost per acquisition (CPA) of new subscribers also decreased by 300%.

The AI-generated images were hyper-personalized and deeply aligned with the ad copy, creating a cohesive and compelling message for the viewer.

And the AI ads also had a unique and differentiated style that stood out from traditional stock imagery, capturing viewers' attention more effectively.

Generating custom images through AI is way faster and more efficient than traditional design methods, allowing for quicker iteration and testing.
