How Soulmate Customs Cracked Viral Content with 7 Daily Posts

At just 23 years old, Keida Dervishi has built Soulmate Customs into a multi-million dollar business by posting 7 videos daily across social media platforms.

Starting at age 19, she transformed her passion for personalized relationship products into a thriving enterprise through relentless content creation and strategic social media management.

She shared her entire strategy on The Edward Sturm show.

Soulmate Customs Generates Millions Through Personalized Relationship Products

Soulmate Customs offers fully personalized relationship products including jewelry, clothing, hoodies, keychains, teddy bears, and pillowcases.

The business serves a broad customer base - anyone and everyone, regardless of age or gender, for any occasion.

Keida's first viral success came within a week of launching the business. After receiving her first order, she filmed herself fulfilling it and posted the video online. That simple 30-second vlog generated millions of views and provided powerful momentum for the brand.

The business achieved 7 figures in revenue during its first 11 months with zero ad spend, relying entirely on organic social media content. Today, Soulmate Customs generates multi-million dollar annual revenue and employs approximately 20 people, with most working remotely.

Content Creation Is The Business, Not Just Marketing

Keida sees Soulmate Customs as more of a content house than a business because everything stems from content. Her commitment to posting 7 videos daily across platforms directly impacts revenue - one day of not posting enough videos means significantly lower revenue.

The most successful content types for Soulmate Customs fall into two categories:

  1. "Spicy" relationship products presented in a humorous way

  2. Emotional stories, such as memorial items for pets or products for people who experienced miscarriages

  3. Behind the scenes content, showcasing the process of creating soulmate customs. Her behind the scenes content includes her mom every now & then. And sometimes employees too.

The spicy ones go viral often. An example would be "Tag your ex for a giveaway hoodie". It got 2.5 million views.

The 10-Minute Rule Enables High-Volume Content Creation

To maintain her prolific output, Keida follows a strict rule: if filming takes more than 10 minutes, she skips to the next idea. This approach allows her to create multiple videos efficiently without getting stuck on any single piece of content.

She batch creates content by dedicating 2 full days to filming enough videos for the entire week. On these days, she aims to produce around 30 videos per day to meet her weekly quota.

Keida also strategically reposts viral content monthly. She has posted the same video 3 or 4 times, with each repost generating millions of views.

She identifies "viral proof" videos (around 50,000 views) that didn't get fully pushed by the algorithm and reposts them for additional exposure.

Time Blocking Transformed Her Productivity

Keida wakes up at 5 AM daily for personal time before the workday begins. She describes time blocking as "the most powerful thing" she has found in her life.

Her typical schedule includes:

  • 5-6 AM: Personal time alone before others wake up

  • 9 AM to 3 PM: Focused solely on content creation

  • Evenings and weekends: Operations and business development

This structured approach allows her to balance content creation with operational responsibilities.

The TikTok Studio Hack For Business Accounts

Business accounts on TikTok face a significant limitation: they can't use trending sounds, which Keida describes as "extremely crucial" for virality. To overcome this obstacle, she developed a workaround:

  1. Create a regular TikTok account (not a business account)

  2. Film videos in TikTok Studio using this regular account

  3. Save the videos without posting them

  4. Post the saved videos to the business account

Importantly, she warns against posting to the regular account first, as TikTok's algorithm can detect reposts. Her TikTok representative advised that reposting content is "not allowed on business accounts".

For sound selection, Keida searches for trending sounds that match the mood of her content. She recommends using TikTok's three-dot menu to sort sounds by "most viral" or "most liked" rather than "most recent".

Multi-Platform Strategy Builds Audience Across Channels

Soulmate Customs maintains substantial followings across multiple platforms:

  • 650,000+ followers on TikTok

  • 450,000+ on Instagram

  • 300,000+ on both Snapchat and YouTube

Keida emphasizes the importance of cross-platform posting. This approach maximizes the reach of each video created.

She particularly values Instagram for community building, describing it as "a pure platform for community" that excels at relationship building compared to other platforms. The company earned a YouTube Silver Creator Award (100,000 subscribers) within just 3-4 months of starting to post Shorts.

Hiring Too Fast Nearly Destroyed The Business

One of Keida's most significant challenges came from expanding her team too quickly without preserving company culture. She cautions that one bad person can ruin everything built with a team.

She emphasizes the importance of ensuring all team members share the same mentality, values, vision, and work ethic.

The business currently employs around 20 people, with about 4 staff members working in the office alongside Keida, her mother, and her brother. She continues to face challenges in training content creators due to the high pressure and volume requirements of the role.

Giveaways And Livestreams Build Community Beyond Content

Livestreaming serves as a powerful tool for reaching new audiences. When going live, new people constantly have eyes on the account. Keida notes that livestreaming increases views across all videos - every time she goes live, there's a spark in views on the account.

For giveaways, Soulmate Customs uses High Tide, a platform that integrates with social media accounts to automatically collect email addresses and phone numbers from participants. This approach helps build the company's email and SMS marketing lists while engaging the community.

The brand regularly receives fan mail, with customers sending letters about how much the business means to them. Keida displays these messages on a dedicated fan mail board in the office.

Authenticity Sells More Than Products Ever Could

Keida believes that authentic content sells the most. She advises never to simply say "hey, this is my product, buy it" because nobody cares. Recently, she began sharing more personal struggles after being inspired by mentors.

For example, she now discusses how her family faced "a horrible financial situation" before starting Soulmate Customs. As entrepreneurs, her parents experienced significant ups and downs, and the business emerged during one of their most challenging periods.

Keida believes in showing the real story and day-to-day operations rather than focusing solely on products. This "build in public" approach reveals the behind-the-scenes reality of running a business, creating stronger connections with the audience.

Consistency Is The Ultimate Competitive Advantage

Keida emphasizes that the key to success is consistency in everything you do in your life. Despite experiencing burnout multiple times, she has maintained her schedule of posting 7 videos daily for years.

Whether in content creation, business operations, or personal development, consistent effort leads to improvement over time.

With her team's support, she now aims to increase her daily content output from 7 to 10 videos. Volume posting on Instagram nets a lot of views.
