How KSI & Logan Paul Fooled The Media With The Prime Launch
The Prime Marketing Masterpiece
Logan Paul and KSI launched their beverage brand Prime in four new European markets - Germany, Spain, Denmark, and Norway.
While the product launches drew massive crowds, they had a creative trick up their sleeves.
The Staged Drama
Instead of a typical product launch, KSI came up with an ingenious idea to bait the media.
They asked their loyal fans to pretend to be angry and throw empty Prime bottles at them during the events. This orchestrated chaos created exactly what they wanted - a media sensation.

Media Reaction
News outlets quickly picked up the story, reporting about:
Angry fans turning against their idols
Security concerns at the events
Apparent backlash against the influencers
Logan Paul later revealed the truth that every bottle throw was planned and coordinated with their fans.
The empty bottles were part of a calculated marketing strategy that generated 10 of millions of free media impressions, widespread social media discussion by media and content creators, and an increase in brand visibility for Prime in Europe.
This campaign created a controlled controversy by engaging with fans in creative ways. It was able to misdirect the media and the haters of Logan Paul and KSI while generating organic media coverage.
The Prime bottle-throwing incident shows how well-planned "controversy" can create massive marketing impact.

Windsurf by Codeium is the first agentic IDE.
The brilliant part of their new launch is they got people from every department (marketing, sales) to build a game from scratch. Someone made Wordle clone and someone else made a Doodle Jump.
If you have got an idea, try to build it out now. You can use the pro version for 2 weeks completely FREE and then its just $10 per month.

Exact Matching Domains (EMDs) have their pros of being able to recognize easily what they do but the con is you can't pivot easily if you don't have Product-Market Fit (PMF).
Copy AI is a good lesson. The domain name is an EMD which was perfect early on as it was a SaaS about copywriting done using AI. But now they have pivoted, the EMD feels off.

Every founder’s new nightmare is finding out that your employees work 2-5 jobs. The problem isn't doing more jobs but quiet-quitting or not doing jobs at all.
Look at /r/overemployed to see people doing 5 jobs at a time thanks to remote work. A few pull in $1.2m per year doing 5 jobs. But even though this guy does 5 jobs, there is no real work involved as he gets to play games for 4-5 hours a day. Maybe this only happens at big companies.
