Reddit Went From #85 Site To #7 Site In The World

It has seen a 1,328% increase in SEO visibility on Google since July 2023.

Increase in SEO Visibility for Reddit

According to Ahrefs, it now receives around 427 million monthly visitors in traffic.

Ahrefs Data On Reddit

This was due to Google promoting UGC-content as Googlers couldn't figure out how to tackle AI-generated articles.

So if you promote your site on Reddit now, you will get an insane amount of traffic from it.

This data is also trained on ChatGPT and other popular LLMs. Give enough references on Reddit about your product so you can rank on both ChatGPT and Google.

There's one cool way to get backlinks from Reddit.

You can use Reddit Image Carousels feature to link your site.

Backlinks From Reddit Image Carousels

This is an example from /r/Koreanfilm but it will work on /r/DataIsBeautiful or any site.

All you have to do is make a half-decent infographic.

Claude AI - Graphs using Data Analysis

You can create specific-graphs that have gone viral before like Taylor Swift's Swear Words Campaign and just put your sites link on it.

There are a few graph sites that are very active like /r/DataIsBeautiful so on the off-chance you do go viral, you get 1 million+ views.

These are mostly no-follow links but they are still useful for SEO and a great way to get a few customers.

A Commercial Database of Advertising Archive

Adspot is a commercial database of Advertising Archive.

It contains millions of ads from all over the world.

This video is from a marketing legend Rory Sutherland.

Rory Sutherland recommends solving problems irrationally as there's no shortage of rational, logical, reasoned thinking in business.

He has a great british accent and a few hilarious quotes.

"Sometimes you just want to stand in the corner and stare out of the window. The problem is, when you're not smoking and staring out the window, you're an anti-social, friendless idiot. If you stand and stare out of the window with a cigarette, you're a fucking philosopher."
