YouTube SEO Tip

SEO isn't hard. People make it hard.

What works on Google seems to be working on YouTube as well.

The Pareto of SEO as stated by Edward Sturm is as follows:

Put your target keyword in the:

  • Page title

  • Meta description

  • URL

  • H1

  • Beginning of the first sentence

The last point is very important.

I was recently learning Midjourney and had to search a few new features specifically "midjourney sref" and "midjourney cref."

So I tried searching them and stumbled upon an easy to spot pattern.

YouTube SEO Tip: Midjourney SREF

Using a title that exactly matches the first few keywords ranks above much bigger channels.

YouTube SEO Tip: Midjourney CREF

You do need to have an engaging video that holds attention and all but this simple trick is so underused by the top most YouTubers.

You can see an example by Fireship with 3 million+ subscribers using a title that doesn't contain the exact match at the start.

YouTube SEO Tip: Google Algorithm Leak

It still ranks well but that's not the point.

You can see the massive difference in subscribers between #1 (3.3m subs) and #2 (4.8k subs) and it still ranks very high.

#2 video actually has a better title where "Google Algorithm Leak" is mentioned exactly as is at the start of the title.

And the best part is you can use autocomplete so you know what exactly YouTube thinks people are searching.

Start typing a few keywords around the thing you are making a video about and create a title that uses exactly those words.

YouTube SEO Autocomplete

This should work for Google, YouTube, TikTok, and literally every platform that has a search feature.

The goal of search is to satisfy user intent.

And this little trick is a phenomenal way to grow a small channel on YouTube.

A tool to Automate 80% of repeat writing, thinking, and creative tasks in your voice and style

Spiral uses AI to automate 80% of repeated stuff in your own voice and style.

People writing podcast have to make the same descriptions on Podcast Players and YouTube so this automates that out in your own voice and style. Finally, AI is good enough to make more useful stuff.

This video has an incredible insight in the first 11 minutes of the video.

Funnels are good but Cycles are rad.

If you are selling stuff online, use Cycles instead of a Funnel so you can sell to someone again and again.

Because the best customers you can have are the ones who have already bought from you.

Once someone buys from Apple, they rarely ever go back.

Top Tweets of the day

Now you can forget where you actually put your stuff at home.

Home Assistants combined with Local LLMs for privacy will be a growing market in the coming years.

2/

Its getting harder to go viral on TikTok. But you can go easily viral on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts using the same video.

But if your video blows up on TikTok, you make more sales easily thanks to their seamless E-Commerce integration via TikTok Shops.

Rabbit Holes

  1. MakeLogo.ai: From idea to $65,000 exit in 3 months - Being the first to market means you can make simple stuff and make money with it. People like novelty.

  2. FACELESS INSTAGRAM THEME PAGE PLAYBOOK - Theme Pages are a good way to have 100% passive income with a VA repurposing content of others. The hard part is growing the audience initially.

  3. Pareto SEO - The 80/20 of SEO you need to rank.
