How Ole Lehmann Grew His X Following to Over 100k — Twice
Ole Lehmann recently crossed 100,000 followers on his personal X account. This isn’t his first time hitting this milestone. His other account, AI Solopreneur, has already grown to 163,669 followers.
Once might be an accident, twice makes it a pattern.
His Social Blade reveals he had 23,106 followers in August 2024 and jumped to 52,761 by September 2024.

He often sees massive jumps of 10k to 20k followers each month.
The Formula: Talking About Europe
Lehmann’s growth hinges on one key topic: Europe. The algorithm seems to favor his content, and he knows how to leverage it.
His tweets often start with attention-grabbing statements like:
These statements directly poke the European people and generates him a lot of heat. It parks engagement even if people just want to dunk on him which the algorithm rewards.
The Growth Hack: Copy-Paste Tweets
One of Lehmann’s recent strategies took his growth to another level.
He posted 2 nearly identical tweet threads, 2 months apart. Both went viral.

Posted on Nov 13, 2024, it got 19.6 million views.

Posted on Jan 13, 2025, it got 13.2 million views.

The tweets are almost word-for-word copies. This repetition worked. The algorithm picked up on the engagement, and the tweets reached millions. People who missed it the first time saw it the second time.
Pro Tip: Algorithms are made to behave like humans. All hit movies like Rocky, Harry Potter, or Marvel follow the same pattern: The Hero’s Journey. You can easily spot it in Zombie movies or shows like The Walking Dead. The show has the same formula in every episode. The same is true for algorithms like X/TikTok or ad platforms like Facebook Ads. FB Ads Experts mention remaking the same ad so you can go viral again.
The Meme Effect
Lehmann’s tweets often take the form of memes about Europe.

They’re relatable, shareable, and often reposted by larger accounts.
For example, @levelsio, an account with 601,433 highly engaged followers, has shared Ole's content.

This amplifies his reach and keeps him visible.
The Sneaky Strategy: Cross-Posting
Another key part of Lehmann’s strategy is cross-posting.
His AI Solopreneur account, with 163,669 followers, reposts his personal account’s content.
This shows his tweets to the AI Solopreneur's audience.

This mimics engagement pods but is more effective since Ole owns the account.
This is what compound interest or exponential growth looks like on social media.
"The first 100k followers take the longest time. But once you build up the first account, you can scale up the others faster with the help of the first one." ~ Munger, probably.
Leveraging the X Explore Page for Maximum Reach
Using Europe in keywords helps Ole land on X's Explore page.
I frequently check the Explore page and often see prominent accounts like @levelsio and @greg16676935420 featured there.

@greg16676935420 is a parody account, yet the Explore page was filled with humorous memes celebrating his birthday.

It’s likely Ole’s content appears on the Explore page for topics related to Europe. While I haven’t seen it myself — my interests don’t align — users in Europe, those using European VPNs, or people with Europe as a selected interest may have encountered his posts. This is speculation, but it aligns with the content I've seen on Explore page.
Lehmann’s success is no accident. He focuses on a trending topic Europe and presents it in a way that sparks conversation or controversy.
Ole has effectively laid out a playbook for growing an X account quickly and he's done it twice.

ChatGPT now has tasks that you can schedule daily.
The amount of use-cases this unlocks is insane:
Learn a new word from a new language like "Korean" you want to learn daily
Start a specific music like "Rocky's Gonna Fly Now" for your morning run
This is what future of Agents looks like. You can give it a set of tasks and go about your day and it will do them before the next day.
Baby steps towards Agents!

When in doubt, raise your prices.
The first lesson in Private Equity is they buy a thing and then raise the prices by an absurd amount. And its the fastest way to make a lot of money with very little effort.

Welcome to the United States of Acceleration.
It's time to talk about "fast takeoff" because Sam Altman just changed his tune, and frankly, he's catching up to what some of us have been saying for years. The question isn't whether we'll hit superintelligent AI – it's… x.com/i/web/status/1…

This rant is crazy!
Worth a read especially this line: "But the moment you create that first fully automated researcher? You don't have one – you have a billion."
o1 Pro can currently 1-shot an entire programming feature. Extrapolate a bit from a birds-eye view and the world might not have enough jobs for massive programmers when 1 person can do the work of 10 people easily. Its just math.
