How Alex Hormozi Uses AI
Alex Hormozi uses AI to ship more stuff fast and boost his team's productivity across various business functions.
1. Sales
Hormozi's sales team leverages AI to streamline tasks and improve efficiency. They increased meeting attendance rates by sending personalized AI-generated videos.
Personalized AI Videos
The speaker records one video, and the AI modifies it to include different names, saving time from manually recording individual videos for each prospect. This "personalized video" hack was used by Lemlist to blow up real fast.
Additionally, AI automates email follow-ups using Compose.ai. Previously, writing these emails took 10-20 minutes per message, adding up to over 2 hours daily.
With AI, Hormozi's team saves 25% of their workweek, allowing them to focus on more critical tasks.

2. Content
Hormozi's content team uses AI to handle audio and image tasks.
For example, they use AI-generated audio versions of emails and tweets using Resemble.AI. They can use AI-generated audios of tweets in post-production of their videos.
This technology creates lifelike audio without the speaker having to disrupt their day. In the future, AI might generate audiobooks and blog posts in the author's voice.

Image editing has also been automated with Runway.ai. Tasks like editing out objects or changing backgrounds, which once took 30 minutes, are now done in seconds.
For video editing, they use Descript, which transcribes videos to quickly locate specific sections using words. This feature saves hours of manual work, enabling the team to focus on enhancing videos with music and effects for better engagement.
3. Training
Hormozi's team creates onboarding videos using AI-generated avatars with Colossyan AI. Instead of reshooting entire videos for updates, they can simply adjust the text, cutting down 100s of hours of human effort.
It looks horrible but the tech has improved significantly now.

AI-based training not only increases efficiency but also upskills employees, leading to more productive teams.
4. Recruiting
Recruiting has also been streamlined with AI. Hormozi's team uses Tavus for personalized outreach to top talent using Hormozi's digital twin, targeting high performers who aren't actively seeking new jobs. High performers are always employeed so it makes sense to proactively outreach them.

They also use Otter.ai to automate interview notes, saving recruiters 10-15 minutes per interview. Timestamped notes are shared with other interviewers for context, making interviews more efficient and resulting in better hiring decisions.
5. Operations
In operations, AI helps optimize meetings and schedules. Fireflies.AI attends meetings and takes notes, saving executives time by summarizing key points with ChatGPT. These summaries are then sent to leadership for better visibility. Apparently, Fireflies and Otter have caught up by now so they kind of function similarly.
They also use Reclaim.ai to optimize team calendars in real-time. The tool reshuffles meetings to minimize downtime between them, reducing wasted time by up to 40%. It also eliminates 1000s of scheduling emails by automatically coordinating calendars.
AI is already transforming Hormozi's business by automating tasks across departments like sales, marketing, HR, and operations.
By doing so, AI has helped increase productivity by up to 40% in some cases.

OpenAI o1 — our first model trained with reinforcement learning to think hard about problems before answering. Extremely proud of the team!

Greg Brockman says, "Our model achieved 49th percentile / 213 points in this year's competitive programming Olympiad (IOI) under human conditions of 50 submissions per problem. But with 10,000 submissions per problem, the model achieved a score of 362.14 — above the gold medal threshold"
This is massive as you can now spend a lot of time and money asking o1 a single question and have it try 10,000 answers first to find the right answer. Programmers already do this with brute-forcing 100s of answers to find the right one but now o1 can do it for you.
"OpenAI's new o1 AI model is the beginning of a significant new paradigm. We numbered it 1 for a reason."

TikTok made it easy in 2016 to create short-form videos and soon everyone became a video-creator.
Cursor, Claude, and Replit have made it easy to create software and soon everyone will be a software-developer.

“Prompt engineering” is taking a bad user prompt and making the result 10/10
If your user has to type more than two sentences its over (especially if its not chat)
Google won because you can type just about anything in the input box and it works well enough

I've met countless people who ask questions that could be answered with a simple Google Search.
Prompt engineering isn't dead until the masses learn to prompt. Translation: You can make a living with simple GPT-wrappers with good prompt engineering on the backend.
