Generational Levers
Every generation has a few levers that can be exploited.
But they won't be the same levers that have been exploited before.
"The next Bill Gates will not start an operating system. The next Larry Page won't start a search engine. The next Mark Zuckerberg won't start a social network company. If you are copying these people, you are not learning from them."
You want to read history but to create your own history, you can't use the same strategies on the same things.
You need to find newer things to apply old strategies on.
Arnold Schwarzenegger made his millions in real estate back in the 60s, long before he tried acting.
You can't get rich now doing real estate if you had circumstances similar to Arnold's.
Steve Jobs and Bill Gates made their millions building operating systems.
Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Mark Zuckerberg made their millions building on top of the internet.
Logan Paul made his millions on top of Vine while Josh Richards did it on top of Musically.
In 2000, Google Ads were new.
In 2007, App Store was new.
In 2009, Facebook Ads were new.
In 2010, Instagram was new.
In 2017, TikTok was new.
In 2020, Text-To-Text GPT was new.
In 2022, Text-To-Image GPT was new, AI Generated Blogs had started ranking well, and NFTs were the rage.
In 2023, Text-To-Speech was new, Parasite SEO was working easily and being an AI Influencer was cool.
In 2024, Text-To-Music, Text-To-Video, and AI Models are new.
What worked before won't work now. But you can find the new generational levers.
Its 2024 and the things working right now are very different.
For example, Short-Form Videos on Instagram Reels or LinkedIn are going wild. Or being a TikTok Creator for TikTok Shops. Or being on Facebook Groups to get outbound traffic. Or using Parasite SEO to rank higher.
In short, use the same old tactics with the new opportunities.
