Raygun: Worst Olympic Breakdancer Or A Marketing Genius?
Rachael Gunn aka Raygun, bombed at the Paris Olympics 2024 in the breakdancing event and turned it into a meme-fest.
It was Breakdancing's Olympic Debut and she got them mainstream attention while simultaneously carving her name in Olympic history.
Raygun - Google Trends
While many people found it cringe, others found it hilarious.
She knew she couldn't beat her competition.
"I was never going to beat these girls on what they do best, the dynamic and the power moves, so I wanted to move differently, be artistic and creative. Because how many chances do you get like that in a lifetime... to do that on an international stage. I was always the underdog and wanted to make my mark in a different way.”
So she used the international stage to make a name for herself and it worked.
She's literally trolling everyone.
"My coordination and my eye for technique is really strong."
Look at the comments getting riled up and giving her more views.
Raygun trolling everyone - Comment Section
She has started a trend on TikTok. I doubt it'll stop anytime soon.
#raygun has 86.5k videos on TikTok
She got mentions from Adele and comedian Rachel Dratch impersonated her on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
She's covered in Australia's top news channels like Sky News Australia as well as other channels like The Project and Guardian Sport. All big news publications are covering her story.
She blew up on Instagram where she went from 4.3k followers on 09 August 2024 to 185k followers on 18th August 2024.
Raygun Instagram Growth on Socialblade
She can capitalize on her recent brand growth as it has soared in value and can potentially make anywhere from $500k to $2.5m if she lands brand deals from big brands. She's phenomenal on camera so its just a matter of time she signs an ad.
She can also sell a merch or do brand deals and cash in on her brand like the Hawk Tuah Girl to print atleast a million in a matter of months.

Virality like this has a time window of 30 days unless she capitalizes fast before she's forgotten.
But for many, she's the only breakdancer they'll ever know.

Everyone wants to own a SaaS because code gives massive leverage, has insane margins, and you can exit for 5x-10x or more.

Web scrapers are insane. $249 for 100k results.
I wrote a 578 line node script and used 50 dedicated proxies to grab 40 million results in 24 hours.
The IP addresses are $2/month/proxy. The data is $0.
Y'all should learn to code.

Any product in any niche can make $1m if your market has enough buyers and you can reach them in one place.

Productivity - "Compound growth gets discussed as a financial concept, but it works in careers as well, and it is magic. A small productivity gain, compounded over 50 years, is worth a lot. So it’s worth figuring out how to optimize productivity. If you get 10% more done and 1% better every day compared to someone else, the compounded difference is massive." ~ Sam Altman
