Women's Beauty has been exploited for centuries through Cosmetics and Surgeries.

Its time for men.

Korea was ahead of its time when it comes to Cosmetics for men.

Watch any K-Drama and you'll see the 40-year old men in Korea look like they are in their 20s.

Anyways, one app catapulted on the App Store with a Looksmaxxing App.

The app is called Umax - Become Hot.

The app is pretty simple.

It rates your attractiveness based on selfies and provides a "potential" score along with recommendations to improve looks.

1. Analyzes jawline, masculinity, grooming, skin quality, hair etc from selfies using AI

2. Gives an "overall" attractiveness score out of 100 and compares you to others

3. Provides a higher "potential" score and sells products/routines to reach that potential

The products they sell are affiliate links to Amazon.

App uses AI to analyze your selfies and gives you a rating but tells you that you have a high potential so you keep using the app.

It charges a weekly subscription and a monthly subscription.

$4 per week is cheap but if you continue to use it or forget it, it automatically rolls over.

Most pricing optimizations are around making you forget that you ever had a subscription to it. There's an entire subreddit dedicated to Dark Patterns but you can't deny their effectiveness.

This is totally legal btw but some apps and websites use Deceptive Designs.

Huge viral potential in making a clone of this app, doing App Store Optimization (ASO), pouring ads, and making a killing from it.

There is only 1 person behind this app as you can see on the About page.

He makes approximately $6 million from this app.

Look at the ratings. It has 19.2k ratings with 4.6 stars and #22 in Lifestyle category.

I'm sure Apple will feature it soon or has already done so.

The trend of Men Looksmaxxing is will continue to rise. We are early.
