Decoding Creator Paychecks in One Search (feat. YouTubers and Newsletter Creators)
Creators on YouTube and newsletters mostly generate income through sponsorships. People can uncover these earnings with a straightforward method using Passionfroot, a platform connecting creators with brands.
Passionfroot's platform functions as an open repository of creator sponsorship rates.
You can find top YouTubers using a specific Google Dork. This specific search trick unlocks the data.
By searching for site:passionfroot.me -site:passionfroot.me/blog youtuber AND "Looking for a custom collaboration?" into Google, anyone can pull up profiles of YouTubers listed on Passionfroot.

Google Dork for YouTubers on Passionfroot
The query literally means show sites from passionfroot.me but don't show passionfroot.me/blog. It also shows profiles with the keyword "youtuber" and the keyword "Looking for a custom collaboration?" (this keyword removes many useless results.)
These profiles like the one of Matthew Berman reveal details about sponsorship rates.

Matthew Berman YouTube Sponsorship
For example, Matthew with 423k subscribers charges $25,000 for a dedicated video. And $7,050 for 30-60 second integration.
The same approach works for newsletter creators like Houck too. Their profiles show up too, offering a window into their earnings.

Houck Newsletter Sponsorship
For example, Houck charges $3,000 for full featured placement for his 63k subscriber newsletter.
By studying these profiles, you can calculate monthly incomes. A YouTuber posting 5 sponsored videos at $5,000 each earns $25,000 that month. A newsletter creator with 3 sponsorships at $1,000 each brings in $3,000.
Big names like Graham Stephan and Ali Abdaal complicate this process.

They don’t list exact rates on Passionfroot. Instead, they offer custom quotes.

Ali Abdaal Sponsorship
To crack this, you can pose as a brand and email them by setting up a fake Gmail, Tutanota, or Proton Mail account. You can invent a brand name—like “PeakPulse Media”—or borrow a real one that holds up under a quick Google search. This tactic reveals numbers hidden from public view.
The data serves a purpose beyond curiosity. It helps you pick profitable business models.
Take AI as an example. A YouTube channel focused on AI tutorials might earn $8,000 monthly with 2 sponsorships at $4,000 each. A newsletter covering AI trends could pull in $3,000 with 3 deals at $1,000 each. Comparing these figures shows YouTube outpacing newsletters in this niche.
You can also spot hot niches. If gaming YouTubers average $12,000 per sponsorship and fitness creators hit $6,000, gaming looks more lucrative.
Another use emerges: influencer partnerships. Someone with cash to spend can target these creators. A gaming YouTuber charging $10,000 per video becomes an option for a brand with a matching budget. The same goes for a newsletter creator asking $2,000 per issue. Passionfroot’s profiles make these connections possible.
This approach strips away guesswork. You can see real numbers from real creators. Learn what works, what pays, and where to focus. YouTube and newsletters stop being mysteries. Instead, they turn into clear paths with dollar signs attached.

notebooklm had insane potential, one of the best products google’s put out in years. but in classic google fashion, it seems like it lost all momentum & got left to die. no mobile apps, no meaningful iterations, just vp’s choking it out. the vultures came & picked it apart.… x.com/i/web/status/1…

NotebookLM is such a banger product. But since Googlers made it, it had to die. Once you build a reputation, its hard to shrug it off.
The lesson is don't be Google. Google loves half-assing things. You either go all-in or all-out. No in-between. HELL YEAH OR NO.
Seth Godin has a short book on this very topic known as The Dip. Highly recommend reading it.

If something is too good to be true, it usually is.
Earlier it was SBF's FTX and now AppLovin. For more context, see this.

Someone used Claude to make mid 6-figures per project and now another person has an agency on top of Lovable.
The genius of being an official partner is they get all the distribution and clients for free. They just need to deliver on the project.
Soon, Replit will have something like this and Bolt.new will have something like this. If you want to capitalize, be the agency guy or gal on top of a hot new tool. Ride the wave.
